$7.6 million medical malpractice jury verdict (the largest in Sacramento County) on behalf of a young woman who suffered a spinal cord injury after doctors failed to diagnose a tumor on her spine.

The jury awarded the plaintiff $1.895 million, including $1 million for past pain and suffering. Because the jury found the plaintiff 30 percent responsible, the award is reduced by 30 percent to around $1.33 million.
